To me it smells like liquid gold poured over flowers — ylang-ylang creamy as custard, Damask roses at their most voluptuous, jasmine sambac glowing like it's lit from within. J'adore is Dior's great golden bouquet, the scent of a woman who has never once doubted she is the most interesting person in the room. It doesn't smell like individual flowers; it smells like the idea of flowers, perfected. Golden and glorious — easy to love, even for beginners.
