Composition
A woody-aromatic attar and a longtime Al Rehab bestseller, widely considered an oil-based take on vintage Drakkar Noir. Cool aquatic freshness, sage and moss up top give way to a dry, herbal heart of amber and spice, drying down to sandalwood, cedar and oud. Rugged, green and unmistakably masculine — as an oil, the mossy depth outlasts the alcohol originals.
I get a mountain-cabin feeling — Sage, herbal and silvery-green and spicy notes, warm and piquant crisp against a backdrop of timber and stone. Underneath, Golden amber, warm and glowing, moss, damp and green and watery notes, fresh and transparent gather like a slow chord, deepening everything around them. The earthy character never leaves — it is the quiet backbone of the scent. Sandalwood, creamy and smooth, agarwood oud, dark and resinous and dry cedar, pencil-shaving woods anchor the base — warm, dark, and utterly sure of themselves. It ends like the last scene of a good film — you want to experience it again. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
