Composition
Davidoff's 2019 Eau de Parfum flanker of the iconic Cool Water, created by perfumer Annick Menardo. It keeps the aquatic DNA but trades the original's marine sharpness for a warmer, sweeter tropical-amber character built around green mandarin, coconut nectar and amber.
It opens with a bright, sparkling green mandarin before a creamy coconut nectar slides in at the heart — tropical but never sunscreen-cheesy. As it dries down, warm golden amber wraps everything in a smooth, slightly sweet glow that lasts well into the evening. In Indian weather this is an evening-out scent, far better after sunset in humid cities than under a harsh afternoon sun. Beginners will find it easy to wear and crowd-pleasing, though purists of the original Cool Water should know it smells almost nothing like it.
