Composition
A sweet mix of fruity assortments touched by violet and chocolate, by Pierre Montale. Hazelnut, orange and bergamot open into dark chocolate and violet, over Madagascar vanilla and white musk.
To me this smells like the best chocolate shop on the sweetest street in town. Hazelnut, orange and bergamot open like praline being made — nutty, citrus-bright, irresistible. Then dark chocolate and violet: the violet powdery and old-fashioned, like violet candies from childhood, the chocolate dark enough to keep it grown-up. Madagascar vanilla pours over the base like ganache, white musk softening it into silk. Sweet, nutty, floral, and completely unhinged in the best way. You will want to eat your own wrist.
