Casanova is an extrait de parfum by Tiziana Terenzi, launched in 2014 and composed by Paolo Terenzi. It opens with powdery notes, fig leaf, orchid, bergamot and jasmine, unfolds into ambergris, myrrh, leather, cardamom, guaiac wood, pink pepper and vanilla, and settles on white musk, ambroxan, cedar, amber, vetiver, tonka bean and oakmoss. The opening is a soft powdery veil — fig leaf greenness and delicate florals, like expensive talc. Then it warms up: ambergris and myrrh give it a salty-sweet glow, leather and cardamom add a quiet spice, and the whole thing starts to feel like warm skin after a bath. The dry-down is pure ambroxan-musk smoothness, clean yet animalic, lingering for hours. It is sensual without being loud, which makes it surprisingly versatile — office-safe if sprayed lightly, magnetic up close. One of the more beginner-friendly Terenzi extraits, though the powdery opening is a love-it-or-hate-it moment worth sampling first.
