Boss Intense, launched in 2003, is a warm spicy-oriental eau de parfum for women. Spices and orange blossom open the scent, with vanilla and rose at the heart. Sandalwood, amber and patchouli form the dry-down.
Scent story
To me this is a spice market strung with orange blossoms — warm spices first, cumin-sweet and enveloping, then orange blossom blooming white and honeyed through the heat. Vanilla and rose soften everything into something almost edible. Sandalwood, amber, and patchouli in the base turn it into warm skin and woodsmoke, like the market at closing time when the fires are lit. It is cozy and a little exotic, the scent equivalent of a cashmere sweater. Intense in name, gentle in spirit. Beginner-friendly.
