Composition
A 2017 limited edition of Gucci Bamboo. It opens with Calabrian bergamot over a heart of Casablanca lily, ylang-ylang and orange blossom, settling into Tahitian vanilla, sandalwood and ambergris. A softer, creamier floral interpretation of the original Bamboo.
To me this smells like a tropical garden at dawn after rain — bergamot bright on wet leaves, Casablanca lily huge and white, ylang-ylang creamy as coconut milk. Orange blossom drifts through like a bridal veil, Tahitian vanilla warming everything golden. Sandalwood and ambergris dry it down smooth and expensive. It is Gucci at its most graceful: exotic, floral, and quietly luxurious. The Tahitian vanilla deepens as it wears, turning the whole garden golden, like late afternoon deciding to stay forever. Beginner-friendly.
