To me it smells like New York after dark — oud smoke over Fifth Avenue, roses in a penthouse vase, the city humming below. New York Oud is the metropolis and the desert shaking hands: resinous, floral, electric. It wears like a skyline. Not for beginners — city oud is heavy.
