Composition
A soft confluence of floral and fruity notes from 2000, meaning four roses. Bright bergamot opens into a balanced heart of jasmine and rose, settling on a warm base of sandalwood, musk and ambergris with excellent sillage and longevity.
To me this smells like a flower market at dawn — bright bergamot, sparkling citrus dewy and luminous in the cool air. Then Jasmine, heady and white and rose, lush and velvety bloom at the center, turning the whole thing softer and deeper. The woody character never leaves — it is the quiet backbone of the scent. The dry-down is Ambergris, salty-sweet and mineral, musk, soft and skin-like and sandalwood, creamy and smooth — smooth, grounding, and quietly addictive. It is equal parts comfort and confidence, and it never tries too hard. Beginner-friendly — crowd-pleasing without even trying.
