Composition
Ange ou Démon Le Secret is a Floral fragrance for women launched in August 2009, created by Bernard Ellena, fronted by Uma Thurman in a champagne-pink flacon. More "ange" than demon, it is a watercolor floral with a sparkling burst of Italian winter lemon and cranberry underpinned by green tea, a crystalline jasmine heart linking white peony and water flowers, over blond woods and patchouli.
To me this smells like a watercolor left out in the rain — deliberately, beautifully. Italian winter lemon and cranberry open with a sparkling tartness, green tea adding a cool transparency underneath, like looking through glass. The jasmine heart is crystalline rather than heavy, linking white peony and water flowers in something weightless and pure. Blond woods and a whisper of patchouli ground it without ever darkening it. More ange than demon, exactly as promised: a sheer floral for daylight, for white clothes, for mornings when you want to smell like light itself. Beginner-friendly.
