Composition
Andromeda is a 2015 Extrait de Parfum from Tiziana Terenzi's Luna collection, created by Paolo Terenzi and dedicated to the constellation. An amber-floral opening with ylang-ylang, water jasmine, bergamot and grass, blooming into peach, pear blossom, lily, heliotrope, violet leaf and Damask rose, and drying down to cashmere wood, ebony, amber, tonka, vanilla, coconut and sugar. Luminous, sweet and cosmic.
Andromeda is Kirke's elegant sister — where Kirke shouts, Andromeda sings. The ylang-ylang and water jasmine open soft and tropical, like a breeze through frangipani, before the peach and pear add a juicy sweetness. The drydown is pure comfort: coconut, vanilla, tonka and sugar wrapped in warm amber and soft woods, like being hugged by a cashmere blanket. It is sweet but not cloying, thanks to the green grass and violet leaf keeping it fresh. In India, it's lovely for cooler evenings and festive occasions. More approachable than Kirke — a good beginner-friendly entry into the house.
