Composition
Decision is a woody-aromatic eau de parfum for women and men by Quentin Bisch, launched in 2025 in the Odyssey Collection. It opens with cardamom, bergamot and pink pepper, develops frankincense, myrrh and juniper berries in the heart, and settles into vanilla, cedarwood and patchouli.
To me this smells like standing at a mountain monastery gate as the morning prayers begin — cardamom and pink pepper snap in the cold thin air, bergamot flashing bright like the first sun on snow. It's bracing, almost austere. Then the resins arrive: frankincense and myrrh, thick and sacred, with juniper berries crushed underfoot releasing their gin-sharp green. Vanilla and cedar try to warm it, patchouli adds its dark earth, but the incense never lets go. This is a scent about conviction — beautiful, severe, and built like a cathedral. You don't wear it casually. Not for beginners — beginners stay away.
