To me this smells like getting ready for a sangeet on a cold Delhi night. The bathroom mirror is fogged, fairy lights are blinking through the window, and someone has put on music too loud in the next room. Cinnamon hits first, warm and a little wicked, then it melts into vanilla and tonka like the center of a really good mithai — sweet, golden, impossible to stop thinking about. This is the smell of walking into a party already knowing the night is going to be good. It announces you before you say a word, and everyone leans in a little closer. A friendly first step into the house.
