Is it worth saving up for the real thing vs 10 good clones?

Serious question. I can buy the designer original I have been eyeing for around ₹9,000, or get 10 solid clones for the same money. For those who own both — is the original actually that much better?
This is genuinely helpful, thank you. ‘Clones for exploring’ is going to be my whole philosophy now.
My rule: clones for exploring, originals for the 2-3 scents I would wear forever. No point owning a ₹9k bottle you reach for twice a month.
Own both (well, the inspired version). Honest answer: the original is maybe 20-30% better in refinement and smoothness. Whether that is worth 10x the price is personal. I buy originals only for my absolute loves.
