New here — how do I make a ₹500 dupe last a full office day?

Hi everyone! Just got into fragrances, bought two clones (₹499 each, will not name the house yet lol). They smell great but die in 3 hours. Is this just how affordable ones are, or am I doing something wrong?
Trying the lotion trick tomorrow! Did not know about the sunlight thing — mine sits on my windowsill 😅 moving it right now.
+1 on clothes. My office shirts carry the scent till evening even when my skin gives up by lunch. Also store them away from sunlight — heat kills them in the bottle too.
Welcome! A few things that helped me: moisturise first with an unscented lotion, spray on clothes not just skin, and do not rub your wrists together. Also 4-5 sprays minimum for clones, they are not as concentrated.
